NOT what you want to see when setting up your shot!

I was out tonight in the rain doing some nighttime landscapes, and as I climbed a wall I looked down and had quite a shock.



This is a bamboo viper.  Their bites are rarely fatal but the wound gets ugly really fast. Forgive me for not filling the frame with the subject; I didn't want to come home with a chunk of my body dead.
