da* 16-50 f2.8 artificially restricted to f2.8?

Meuh that looks about right 50mm @ f2.8 the hole should be 17.8mm and 16mm @ f2.8 the hole should be 5.7mm. From my experience anything under f2 on APSc is very soft, I think that is why Pentax generally stay with f2.8. I wouldn't be touching it.
