D800 matrix metering vs. D600 matrix metering.

Here is the test as you suggested it. This time the only light in the room is from this lamp.

First the "control" photo. M mode at ISO 1000, f/4.5 & 1/15. As you can see, with this light alone there is significantly more light in the area than in the previous test, which had much weaker light from the cracked window.

The second photo is Matrix with the light near the area but outside the frame.

Third photo is the light moved slightly (about half a meter) to put it inside the frame.

By the way, all shot RAW and exported with no editing.
