Quick Sony 16-50 2.8 question for LR users

If I am shooting in raw (a77) and processing in LR4, is the (reported at least) quite considerable distortion at 16,, auto corrected in LR because the a77 passes on correction info, or does it just auto-correct JPEGs? If not, what are your suggested LR settings? Is there an Adobe profile for the lens in LR4? Any good?
