Shooting in other than 16:9 ratio

Hello. My question is about the shooting ratio of the sony hx10v
The default aspect ratio that the camera uses is 16:9. I can not find any option to change it to 4:6 or 3:4. The only way seems to be cropping after shooting.
Does anyone of you can suggest any ways to achieve 4:6 or 3:4 shooting aspect ratio; I mean any sorts of upgrade or hidden menu setting or something else?
Please spare a few minute to guide me. Thanks.
