Is this a reasonable time to buy an A57?

I'm thinking about buying an A57 within the next week. I will be going to Hawaii, so it would be a nice time to break in a new camera. But it's not a must have. My trusty Canon SX-230HS still serves me well. This would be my first ILC. Frankly I'd be content with the features of the A37 except I hate the low-quality LCD screen (that thing has no business being on an "Alpha" camera in my opinion). I know there are rumors of an A58 being announced soon, but I assume it will cost more than the A57 currently does. The A57 + 18-55 + 55-300 lenses is available for around $800, which seems like a good value. Since I'm a relative novice, I will probably be content with kit-quality lenses. (I also like the NEX-6 but can't justify the extra money for it compared to the A57).

Is the A58 expected to have any significant upgrades for a newbie type person like me? I don't care about wifi or GPS. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
