Half year old 35mm Summicron Wobbles?!

I just found the the front portion of my 35mm Summicron ASPH (from the hood to aperture ring) is loose and wobbles for about 1/16th of an inch. Noise can be heard when I shake it. This lens was bought new and only half year old. I can hardly believe this is happening... given all the fame to the great german engineering.
Any suggestion on how to repair it? Many thnx! I live in Washington DC. Any local good repair store?
