These are merely a couple of links chosen from the first page of a Google search which turned up over a million hits ... .
As I have said before, these links bear out what I have read that has been written by far more highly qualified authors than I am, or will ever be. My own paltry experiments in this field were sufficient to prove to me that what they were saying was right.

There are more than enough references on the Internet on this subject to satisfy anyone. If you are not satisfied, please take your objections up with the respective authors, not with me. Thanks.

In and of themselves, the "heavily PP JPEG images" posted by Green demonstrate what happens to colour and resolution detail in such files. That may be acceptable to you, as it apparently is to him. It is not acceptable to me.

FWIW:
In order to discuss something at law, you must have a reasonably arguable case.
IMHO, you haven't ...
