Ricoh A12 28mm F2.5... any suggestions?

I have noticed here in Japan that there are lots of these lenses now available used in MINT condition and going for about half the price of a new one! From time to time the need for AF is obvious in occasions where you just don't have time for proper manual focus... I guess if the quality is there wouldn't hurt having one! Is this worth buying?
