I'm old school man who grown up without any IS, so I'm not addicted to have it. I do not trust IS and do not use it, moreover, I'm suspicious about sensor on suspender inside camera, and I think this is the reason for what is known as a "shutter shock"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure shutter shock has been documented in Panasonic cameras, too.

Shutter shock, as in poor technique, its the only shutter shock I`ve ever seen.

If IS is not a problem why have I been seeing threads from Panasonic users wanting Panasonic versions of Olympus primes with in lens IS.

IS can be good for macro as well, extremely good if you like using macro legacy lenses.

I have both Panasonic in lens IS for My G series camera and inbody IS with my OMD, the two systems are worlds apart.
