It wouldn't help.  DNG is just a simply container format, so other than the (fairly simple) job of parsing RAF files, nothing substantial would change.  It would be possible to store "linear DNG", but then a significant portion of the raw processing has already happened in camera and you're no longer dealing with a true raw file.

It's stupid that Canon/Nikon/Sony/Fuji etc all use proprietary RAW least Leica uses DNG.

It'd be nice, but as mentioned above, not much would change.
