I don't have a 45-150mm, but I believe that the OIS is turned on and off through the Panasonic camera's menu, much like it is with the Pany 14-42mm kit lens. In another post on this forum (regarding the Olymps 40-150mm) someone mentioned that handheld shots work well if you set your shutter speed at double the focal length. So if shooting zoomed out at 150mm you'd shoot at 1/320 as the slowest speed.
