Having both an Olympus e-pl1 and a Panasonic GH2 I can say with lots of experience that it is quite limiting - YET, I still prefer the form factor of the GH2.

I have to use much higher ISOs than I would prefer to in order to get the shutter speeds necessary to stop camera motion and I have VERY steady hands capable of capturing sharp images at very low shutter speeds - for some reason I can't use as slow speeds on the GH2 as I can on some of my other compact cameras.

Panasonic does have image stabilizaed lenses and I have one of those which was a bargain (the 45 to 200) but you will have to usually pay more for the stabilized Panasonic lenses and they tend to be larger.  (Correct me if I'm wrong about the size.)

I'm waiting for the the next EM camera, hoping some of its limitations will be corrected.
