OSS may or may not be an issue, but I think Sony should have incorporated OSS On/Off switch on the lens (and on all SLT bodies for SteadyShot). I'm extremely likely to forget turning OSS (or SS) off when using tripod but less so when I use Sigma 18-250 HSM OS on either body (since it has a switch).
