Sigma 35mm 1.4 DG field curvature

Just a note here: The Sigma 1.4 has far less field curvature than the Nikon 35/1.4G. Your issue lies elsewhere I think. Sample variation won't drastically change the field curvature of a lens either - FC is the result of design choices.
