I want a new lens, but idk nothing! :/ Help

I love budgets. I especially love the sound they make as they fly away out of control!

But you're right: the 16/2.8 + UWA is a relatively inexpensive 2-focal length wide angle option (16mm & 12mm) at the cost of zoom flexibility and more pieces to carry. The complaint about the 16mm has been that the image plane isn't as flat as you'd like... I believe I read that it's a little convex. And there's a claim that the plane-flatness improves to some extent when a UWA is added. Could be a limitation if you take orthogonal-view photos of flat walls (murals, large paintings, building facades, etc.) near f/2.8, but for street work like the samples I don't see it as an issue.
