We can put a number on the differences. FOV for APS sensor is
18mm - 76 degrees
14mm - 89 degrees (17% wider than 18mm)
12mm - 99 degrees (30% wider than 18mm)
Yes...for ultra-wide angle shooters such as myself, there is a HUGE difference between 12mm and 14mm. I can't wait to see how the Zeiss performs, but likely I will try and hold off for the Fuji 10-24 as I want as wide as I can get.
