Are pancake primes extinct ?

I did see it in store - it's close enough but not exactly there. It's tendency to nose-dive is much reduced versus other lenses (kit included) but it's not perfect, and the bulge it creates under a sweater or overcoat is much more inconvenient. I believe it would go great with a grip-abled body, but my E-PL3 does not have one; If the body had some grip (like the E-PL2 or 5) I believe the 45mm makes a better match. I do crave for the E-PL5, but the price in my market is too high to make sense and my loss on selling the E-PL3 would be about 70% versus paid price 15 months ago - these two combined make me wait until the 5 goes down in price to more acceptable (for me) levels. Back on the topic, I believe the PL series are the best size / shape to match pancake lenses - at least for me the E-PL3 plus 20mm is really a carry-anywhere item.
