Best M4/3 combo

But you have to define what you mean by IQ. Do you mean that you must have the absolute best IQ based upon DXOMark scores? Because those are obvious and you don't need anyone here to school you on it.

Or do you mean very high IQ in practical use? Because you can shoot any of the 16mp sensors (and there are now many such m4/3 bodies, including the two you mention) in RAW and process in Lightroom for superior results. Easily on par with the D300/D90 APS-C generation and very close to matching the D7000 generation.

As for bang for the buck, the G3 is the best value in a new body that you will find. The G5 is the best dSLR-like body out there. The OM-D has the highest DXOMark score of bodies with a built in EVF. The GX1 combines excellent image quality and video (as do all Panny bodies.)

And so on ... ya gotta pick.
