Filter or No Filter???

I think if you use a quality multicoated filter this is pretty much a non issue. You can not use a filter generally and only put one on in hostile environments, or always keep one on and only remove it on those rare occasions where extreme flare may be a problem. Either way this subject generates more heat than warmth.
