I understand the reasoning.
But this was the only way for me to get the animals in the frame, large enough to be recognizable and with the containers behind them. Standing on the bank with the swans coming towards me, I did not have a multitude of options concerning angles... Pushing them further in the frame with more water in front of them, made the swans much too small to be significant in the composition.
And I do like Louis' interpretation of them swimming out of the frame : it was not a conscious and deliberate visualization, but my subconsciousness may have looked at it that way.
Understood. It was only a very minor quibble anyway!

Sometimes it can be enlightening to read how images were conceived.
