We were one of the first studios(two studios in fact) to go digital full time years ago. You know absolutely nothing about digital photography by your response. Re-learn to take digital pictures with the D800 because it has a 36mp file - are you crazy? I bought the camera because I could afford it. Did I need it? No I didn't but I thought that I could use it along with my D700s as a backup. The D800 was more of a personal camera than business camera.

A camera is a camera. Do you think just because it has a 36mp file you must shoot it off a tripod or something? That it has to be handled a certain way or the files will be soft or it focuses a different way than a 12mp camera?
