As always an excellent review from DPR.

One will have to take the conclusion (and the Award) from their own perspective though. For example, there are cons about jpeg engine in low ISO or moire in movie mode, they won't apply to you if you always shoot RAW or never shoot movie. Same goes for some 'Pros'.

For a lot of users Canon's ergonomics wins hands down and is very important. For understandable reasons it wasn't included in the list of Pros and Cons as it is considered a matter of personal preference.

My personal opinionis that pop up flash (other than the kind used in L1 which can be directed to the roof) is a crime. In the era of excellent high iso performance a camera should be penalized for having it and awarded for not having it.

Service and QC can't be considered in such a review. It would appear that a lot of people are switching to Canon mainly because of these.

So, it maybe a Gold camera for you and a silver for others.
