a different take on color management

Actually what I was saying was that I was actually trying to make my image MORE vivid and contrasty, this has resulted in a much more film like image in the print. I've had great success with icc profiles and color matching but sometimes I want to make the image pop even more. I guess that was the purpose of this post, to see if others ever do that too.
