Had the same problem yesterday PM local time. Could not load to my DPR gallery. Thought it was my computer on possibly my internet provider throttling my speed as my sin-in-law was online playing games. Was able to load images into a post directly from my computer lickity split. Go figure. Glad to hear someone else experienced issues.
