All shot with 12-50 and of course my new Rokinon. C&C welcome.

BTW, I didn't use the dramatic tone filter for everything, but I really did find that it did a better job at capturing the essence of some of the better shots from the hike than anything I could've pushed through RAW, but maybe that's partly my inexperience with RAW. Harsh lighting is well served by that filter IMO.

Did you used the micro contrast (clarify on LR) or a bleach filter on processing or it is just the effect of the dramatic filter ?

BTW, it must have been a wonderful experience. How the batteries have handled the cold ?

In fact it is two questions.

The first one was the dramatic tone filter, straight OOC.  The second one was RAW, using LR4 to coax a little additional definition out, but mostly natural.  The third was using the dramatic tone, with a slight tweek to the JPG to bump the saturation up on the blue sky.

The battery was fine, cold and all.  I brought an extra and didn't need it at all.

Here's another one of the better shots, taken at the long end of the 12-50.  Not sure why I forgot about it.  This was all LR4, just tweaking the clarity mostly.
