Sekonic L-478DR or L-L-758DR ?

I think you will be very happy with the L758DR meter, it is built quite ruggedly and the manner in which the buttons are laid out and how they are utilized makes adjustments very quick and positive. The fact that one can not adjust flash power output directly from the meter was a non-issue for me and as I indicated I normally work in manual mode or add in the AC3 Zone Controller to make adjustments to different zones if it is needed. Normally when I set up the flash units and get my readings from the meter I am pretty much done. Triggering the flash units from the meter works like a charm so getting the readings at the subject and balancing the light from one side to the other is easy to do.

Enjoy your new meter, read the instructions carefully, use the heck out of it when you first get it and you will quickly see what a wonderful instrument it is.
