Yep, Canon DOES have great customer service along with a super loaner program if an owner joins their professional only club at a level higher than the free membership bottom level member (which also has great service , fast turnaround guarantees and 'personal' representation for any problem). If you're using their stuff in any for-pay capacity they'll really go to bat for you.
