Well I guess I'm surviving fairly well without google play. I'm not totally convinced I need it. I'm doing quite a bit with my kindle HD. Not sure how much more I really need to do with it. My goodness - it seems there's so much I can do with it. The speakers are fairly decent for tablet. Wi-fi works well. The price is great - under $175.
