12-35mm Lumix ASPH for video -- strange jitter / OIS issue when mounted on a tripod

Hi Rick,

Just wondering if you also checked for it while using the manual zoom assist? That's the only time I notice the "swirling" on mine, but it is present. Just turn the zoom ring and let the manual zoom assist kick in then let go of the camera. I see a slow, counter-clockwise gyrating motion. But it's not really noticeable at 100%.

Anyway, I hope a firmware update will address this. Seems to be quite a few that are experiencing this (especially at the other forum mentioned).
