******Minichallenge 356: The Portrait; A Window into the Soul*********

Hey Oilman, sorry for the delay. It's been one of those weeks...self-employment + baby = chaos. Sweet, beautiful chaos.

Anyways, here are my three entries. I'm always open to comments and critiques in my unending quest to become a better photographer

My sister's co-worker during a promo shoot we did for the company they work for. I love the pretty colours.

So far, both of my photos this week were shot using one hot-shoe flash (a Yongnuo YN560) mounted off-camera with either a small softbox (this one) or a shoot-through umbrella (the blue one above). Thought I would throw that in incase anyone was curious about it, all-manual flashes don't show up in the EXIF data

I know this site is Digital Photography Review, but I just love portraiture on film. There's no EXIF data for film so I'm not sure the exact shutter speed or aperture, but I never go lower than 1/60" standing handheld and just judging the depth of field vs. distance I remember standing from this guy when I took the photo, I'd guess somewhere between f/5.6 and f/8. This one was a Pentax K1000 and SMC 50mm f/2 prime on the cheap, nameless Lomography colour film; no flash.
