46 megapixel canon Locked

Years ago, Nikon was a joke, and Canon was the cool kid, then Nikon had some hits, and people thing Canon is junk.  Give it another development cycle, and it will be back to Canon.

10, even 5 years ago something like the D600 or 6D would have been a pure fantasy.  Now, they 'suck' because they are not 40+ MP.

There are few people here who actually need something more than 20 MP (if even 10 MP to be honest).  Many here do not own (or are willing to invest in) the glass needed to really use the current best sensors (let alone something above the D800).

At the end of the day, more time spent taking pictures, and some more lenses where needed would be more important than any body improvement.
