I'm reading the DPR since a long tiime, but just now new member. I was happy with a Nikon D90 a a couple of lenses- 28-105 and 50-200, but all are gone with a thief. I have to start again from the beginning. Is it possible to get some advices?

Thanks a lot in advance...Phil

Welcome to the forums. A lot of the information here is worthwhile. Some of it is not.It would be great if you could tell us what kind of pictures you were taking with the D90. Do you have a budget? Generally I don't tell anyone to wait for some new camera, that might or might not come when you come. The D7000 is very good camera. Even if it is being replaced at some future date, take advantage of the camera and kit lens. In the US, the camera and 18-105 lens, is being sold for $1200.

After using the D90, I don't think you would be happy with the D5200. But the best thing to do is to see, feel, touch both cameras. See which is more comfortable to use.
