Wow, I'm not used to forums providing so much good info so fast.
Most of my "portrait" shots in the past have been half/full body, sometimes even groups at places like the Renaissance fair. The close-up headshot style is usually less common for me.
I'm definitely seeing the love for the 45mm Olympus 1.8, should I be concerned about using such a lens on my GX1 without having in-body stabilization?
Oh, and I'll attach a shot I took last week with the C-mount lens for anyone that's curious. I just bought it as a fun lens really, I know it has some very unique characteristics in the focus, sharpness, and vingetting departments.
This was a handheld shot I did right after getting the lens, I had the aperture a little too open, stopping it down just a hair would have gotten a little more of the subjet in focus...but overall I think its a fun kind of lens for ~$30
Panasonic GX1, Fujian 35mm 1.7 CCTV lens. Unedited JPEG from camera.
Again, thanks to everyone for all the replies!
