This. The photonotes information was great a decade ago. But in 2005, Canon switched to the E-TTL II system. The E-TTL II updates that were made to photonotes are incomplete at best, and some of the updates that ​were ​made are incorrect. It's simply not a reliable information source for users of modern Canon DSLRs.
