Stacking is crazy!

Nowhere near? I think you may be letting your enthusiasm get the better of you.

As I say, I'm very familiar with this concept from my professional work and it's not all it's being stacked up to be. I'll be looking forward to some other samples.

And, your comparison of the workload makes no sense. The NR software is about a 2-click effort, once calibrated. Most of the threads are about the difficulties of managing the registration of the multiple images.

I'm not saying the concept isn't sound, but it shouldn't be over-sold.
