I used to have a problem with m43: looking at the comparometer samples, I concluded that the sensor has excellent ability to capture dense, "meaty" colors, that it is excellent at low ISO and has very conservative approach to noise in RAW, -> doesn't do anything about it at all, which is great.

However, the real images people posted were unsharp, poorly exposed, motion blurred snapshots. I took a risk and decided that people just didn't use the camera properly and therefore didn't obtain optimal results; m43 was simply not a choice format for skilled people who know something about photographic technique; I bought a discounted older model, and it proved to be great. So, the lesson is: the high end equipment usually has better samples online because this market segment is usually bought by people who know what they're doing, and that introduces bias.
