Sure you can; there is no concrete threshold where sharper lenses can not be more noticeable; even if the AA filter restricts maximum neighbor pixel contrast to X%, it can not be fully X% unless the lens is a hypothetical one with no loss of detail.  The sharper the lens, the closer to X% the pixel contrast can be.  However, with low pixel density, you are working more towards a contrasty pixelation, instead of increased analog details.
