Differences in RAW-Import

Hello,

I am starting to get more indepth with my Nex 5n and started to use the RAW-Format in combination with Lightroom 4 lately.

There is one thing I was wondering about and I hope this question does not appear too basic. Does it make a difference whether I import the picture with Lightroom, the Sony Software or just manually copy it from the camera?
