Any options to use Canon S100 camera as GPS data logger?

While Canon S100 has a built in GPS ...

1. Is it possible to use this camera also as GPS data logger?

I have heard that many Canon cameras support also 3rd party application plug-ins, perhaps there is also enhanced GPS usage?

Idea is to keep camera GPS constantly on and to record trip track points every few soconds to SD card for later computer access, that's separate of tagging photos.

2. Do you have any experineces how long lasts S100 battery when GPS is continuously on?

3. Do you know any other pocket camera supporting GPS data logging?
