Really glad to see that there is still interest in this thread, thank you all for your additions and an extra thank you for the additional comment Brev00, it looks like you're getting the same out of this as I am myself, as I hope others are.

cfh25... I don't know what it is about rainbows, it might be the good out of the bad but they always seem to encourage and impress. Thank you.

mclewis...Not surprised it's a favourite, love the backdrop and the impression of size and solidity.

capnblinski... I'm always partial to a moon shot and really like the idea of looking up through the trees in this.

minniev... Talk about cutting it fine, last sunset of the year on the last day of the year. Beautiful end to 2012, love it.

jroy... No doubt a great memory for the end of the year in a beautiful place, I agree with the tranquility and would love to have been walking there myself.
