Bought a new DP2

Possibly, but it's hard to say since it's kind of a black box.

In an ideal world it would upsample, and then apply sharpening for a nice out of the box experience.  But in results from other people's testing, it seems like it upsamples the already sharpened version which makes it about equal to upsampling an already sharpened image... if you're going to go to the trouble of upsampling it seems like it's a good idea to be optmial.

However I will say that in a recent set of prints I overdid the final printer resolution sharpening and really cooked a few images.  So just a nice simple upsample may not be a bad idea as it can't go too wrong!

That would be a good idea, I would print some cropped area though (or a few cropped areas) rather than spend all the money on a large print first.

But if you do I'd be curious how it turned out.
