D7000/24-120f4/LR4

I just couldn't convince myself to pull the trigger on the D600 with Nikon's refusal to address the issues. I opted for the D7000 instead and got some good glass. I also switched from Elements to LightRoom 4 and, wow, what a difference.

The controls LR4 gives you at your fingertips takes the fear out shooting RAW for me. I was able to grasp a lot of the controls day 1. Very intuitive.
