Want to Shoot Macro - Having Issue with Lens Decision

Guys,

I have the Trinity and wanted to also look at getting into macro photography, flowers and bugs and whatever comes to mind or sounds cool to shoot lol... someone, not sure who, told me to get the Nikkor 105mm for macro photography.  It's a great lens but  I wanted to do a comparison and see just how close I could get with my 24-70mm Nikkon and then  the 105mm Nikkor -  Here are the two images... now I can plainly see a difference in how much closer the 105mm can get, but this isn't considered macro is it?  This is more of an extreme close up.  I wanted to really get closer than this, is there something I can add to the 105 to make it truly macro or maybe a different lens?
