It's good, but not on a par, particularly once you get off of ISO 100, or are looking for low light capability or color depth. Also remember that you are looking at JPGs in the comparator, either straight out of camera (JPEG button) or processed through Adobe Camera Raw (RAW setting). You really have to download the RAWS for the cameras you want to compare and load them into a suitable post-processor for detailed examination. Closer inspection will show that the D600 (for example) offers around 1 stop better ISO range than the D5200 does for similar quality. One can quibble about fractions of a stop this way or that, but FF sensors' 1 stop theoretical advantage is still basically real.

Yes i agreed,i only look to different areas of the photo(base iso)jpeg and raw, simple test shows almost same detail, color reproduction.I am a beginner in photography and i look(for now)only to side-by-side comparation !

And please tell me a bunch of good lenses to go with 24 mp sensor, price tag 1000 $.

Thanks

It appears the 16-85 VR may be a good way to go. Would be fun to also try a 70-300 VR or the new 70-200 F4.

Nikon needs to bring out a new 16-85 ish F4 or 2.8 soon.
