jap , its really just software, some few years ago installed CHDK (hacked and upgraded software for canon powershoot cameras) on a495 (bought in shop for ~50 pounds) and got time lapse and other staff
Why not ?
so that cheaper cameras does not have the same features ass more expensive ones , and if you want time lapse so bay, GH3 not GX1.
I have GX1 and for time lapse I just bought external 3rd party remote control with timer
I have a GX1 as well and love the camera. Simply excellent.
I just hope the GH3 has a duty cycle to support lots of time lapse movies.
