Sigma 30mm F2.8 DN

I got one of these for my Lumix G3.  I haven't has an opportunity to test IQ, yet but I'm impressed by the look and feel.  It feels solid and smooth and focusing is fast and silent. It's twice the length of the 17mm pancake but still relatively small and light.

Reviews have been positive but these things seem very subjective. For example, there are lots of complaints that it is slow to "boot up" when the camera powers up. Some have said you have to wait 5 seconds before you can shoot. Mine is not like this. I turn on the power switch and raise the camera to the eye and it is ready for action.

I know this is not exactly the same lens as the D2M lens but it likely has some DNA in common. If image quality is as decent as reviews suggest, it is an amazing bargain at £100.
