I got two MFT bodies and the safari trips requires three of my lenses. The reason is the animals can get very close and it's too dusty to change lenses.

This is a very important point! And you may not have time to change lenses: as far as I remember, first nothing happens for a long time, and then you have a few seconds to do you photos.

The only way around it is to buy a new body or buy Panasonic 14-140mm.

So my options are

G3 + 100-300 and GF2 + 14-140

or

G7 + 100-300, G3 + 45-150 and GF2 + 14-42

I would prefer the first option: less to carry around, and the 14-140's IQ is probably better than the 14-42's (according to reviews). BTW, are you sure, the G7 will be available before you start?

Peter.

You did raised a valid point about having seconds to get the camera ready. It would make more sense having a lens giving greater freedom than swapping cameras about during a shoot.

The problem I'm left with is can the GF2 handle a lens that big. The good thing is I will be using G3 + 100-300mm 90% of the time and GF2 menu set up is very similiar to the G3.
