Best software for Greetings Cards and Postcards

Hi Y'all,

Can somebody kindly recommend some easy to use software for greeting cards and postcard layout and printing. I have a windows 7 PC and currently have Photoshop 10 which I have found quite terrible in this regard. My printer is a Canon 9000 mk II.

As you can see I'm at the budget side of the spectrum and the same goes for my price range for such software.
