What do people think about the 24-105/4L kit lens?

If you buy it in a kit there is no better lens for that money. I bought my 5d mk3 with one and practicaly paid about 500$ for it. Considering the Canon 24-70 f2.8 II is 2.300$ I think the 24-105 is the best value for money in this case. Of course it has it's speed limitations and is not as sharp as the 24-70. But is the 24-70 worth 5 times the price? Not really.

Also buying it as a kit at such a good price alows you to sell it later and don't loose any money. If you will consider you need something faster.
